Ianni gained international recognition through his project My Urban Piano, a series of music films created in European capitals that combine performance, visual storytelling, and community engagement. His orchestral works have been recorded by ensembles such as the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
A central thread in his artistic identity is the inner transformation of the listener. Rooted in meditation and contemplative practice, his music is shaped by melodic purity, emotional transparency, and an atmosphere of spiritual stillness.
Ianni has released numerous solo albums and composed a wide catalogue including two volumes of Songs of Love (24 pieces in all keys), a children’s opera, multiple orchestral works, chamber music, and several choral cycles. His collaboration with the Cistercian monks of Heiligenkreuz led to a platinum-certified album featuring his compositions for Gregorian chant.
In recent years, he has expanded his artistic work through innovative performance formats such as Yoga Concerts, immersive experiences that unite live piano music with meditative listening and mindful movement.
Ianni divides his time between composing, performing, and creating transformative musical spaces at festivals, cultural venues, and spiritual retreats across Europe and beyond.
Internationale Aufmerksamkeit erhielt er durch sein groß angelegtes Projekt My Urban Piano, eine Reihe von Musikfilmen in europäischen Kulturhauptstädten, die Musik, visuelle Kunst und soziale Resonanz miteinander verbinden. Seine Orchesterwerke wurden unter anderem vom City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra eingespielt.
Ein zentrales Thema seines Schaffens ist die innere Wandlung des Zuhörers. Aus meditativer Praxis heraus entwickelt Ianni eine melodisch klare und kontemplative Tonsprache, die Räume von Weite, Stille und seelischer Resonanz öffnet.
Zu seinem umfangreichen Werk gehören zahlreiche Soloalben, zwei Bände der Songs of Love (24 Klavierstücke in allen Tonarten), eine Kinderoper, mehrere Orchesterwerke, Kammermusik und Chorzyklen. Seine Zusammenarbeit mit den Zisterziensermönchen des Stiftes Heiligenkreuz führte zu einem Album, das Platinstatus erreichte.
In den letzten Jahren entwickelte er mit seinen Yoga-Konzerten ein neues, immersives Konzertformat, das Live-Musik, achtsames Lauschen und meditative Körperarbeit verbindet.
David Ianni lebt und arbeitet zwischen Luxemburg und Deutschland, wo er komponiert, konzertiert und musikalische Erfahrungsräume auf Festivals, in Kulturinstitutionen und bei spirituellen Retreats gestaltet.

David Ianni partage son temps entre le Luxembourg et l’Allemagne, où il compose, se produit en concert et crée des espaces musicaux transformatifs lors de festivals, de retraites spirituelles et d’événements culturels.
